Docman Upload problem

When I attempt to upload documents using docman from the front end of the website, I get: "Error uploading - Directory problem: ". Is there some permission wrong, or something else I'm missing? The upload is in the User Menu, so you have to log in to see it.

I can upload from the back end and then attach to an article, but this is a very labor intensive, several step, process. I have users that need to be able to upload and replace files on a weekly basis (Google docs) confuses them, and is not user friendly. I want the document on the site attached to an article.

The site I am trying to build is: http://446folk.simplweb.com

have you found the problem yet? I've got 3 web sites I'd like to migrate over from Bluehost, but I'm being stopped by two things:
    1) this attachment extension not working
    2) no forms extension (I'm unwilling to pay for that service at another site, and Chronoforms works real well where I use it

    Hi Chuck

We are working on the upload issue. It's a bit of a mystery why that is happening.

Unfortunately, we are unlikely to add a forms extension. We have had little demand at http://simplweb.uservoice.com

In our extensive experience, Wufoo far exceeds Chronoforms in ease, power and looks (the latter directly leading to conversions). It does have a free plan.
