    Hello Richard,

If you size the image to the space allotted then the image will not be
"automatically" resized to fit the space.

The space you have to fill is 711 pixels wide by 81 pixels tall at 72
dpi. Currently your saved image on the server is only: 500 pixels wide
by 58 pixels tall. So, the program is enlarging your image to fill the
space, but in doing so, losing the quality of the image.

Find your original higher resolution file and save it to the dimensions:
711 x 81 at 72 dpi. Upload it through the media manager and then use
the new larger image for the banner. This should give you a crisp clean
    image.

    All the best,

    Dawn

The image you have uploaded is the correct size
    http://www.sunninghillprep.co.uk/images/banners/fete-web-banner.jpg

You had it in the front page article, with slightly incorrect sizes.

I created a custom HTML module and put the text and banner in that
    http://www.sunninghillprep.co.uk/administrator/index.php?option=com...

I also deleted the other "banner" module you had. The banner component is more for advertizing, it tracks clicks etc. Its slightly confusing, but the "banner" module location is just a placeholder, you can put anything in there.

Off topic, but your site is looking great. Do you have any interest in us doing a blog post about the site and your school?

    :)

With our ticket system we sometimes are too eager to answer and don't
check if one of us relied already.

Can you give me 2-3 sentences about your school and website and a
couple of sentences about how Simplweb has help you.
