Hi - the site seems incredibly slow -- just saving articles in the middle of edits is frustrating - is something going on ?? is there a fix ???

Ok, I'll forward this to our developer. As far as I know the server is running fine. I appreciate the heads up and we'll look into this ASAP.

    Warm Regards,

Hi dawn - I have worked with simplweb for a while now and I can say
confidently that something is different. Everything is MUCH slower to load.
Like annoyingly slow. Other sites/pages on web loading just fine.. Not sure
what it is but I def need a fix - thanks - Terry

Are the sites at normal speed now?

Also, is it the front end or back end that's slow?

Thanks Dawn - I had another question. I am inserting a table in an article
and I want to create some room around it. When you insert an image you can
specify the "distance to surrounding text". Is there a way to format the
text around a table in the same manner ? Thanks - Terry

How about a table in a module and inserting the module into the article using {loadposition my position} ?

That's a great idea Mike. The other option is to add some inline CSS to the table attribute. You'd add the table, then click on the HTML button on the editor and work with the code in there. If you're not code savvy, try the module option. Remember to enable the plugin: load module to get that feature to work. If you'd like step by steps on that, just let me know.

    Hi Terry,

I've gone ahead and enabled the plugin for you on cooler planet. If you add another site and like to do this in the future, you would login to your admin section, roll over extensions and click plugins. Look for the Content - Load Module plugin and make sure it's enabled. Once enabled, go to your module manager and see which module positions are currently in use and which ones are available. To see your options, open another tab and enter your sites URL with ?tp=1 at the end (http://www.yoursite.com?tp=1) This will show you the module positions that are open and those that are in use. Go back to your admin, module manager, click new, custom html module, create, then paste your table into the module. Choose to align it with the editor. Give the module a title and assign it to a a module position (and page too if you'd like). Click save.

Next, go to the article where you'd like to add the table, open it and place your cursor where you want to insert the table. Type this: {loadposition user1} Note: user1 is the representative of a possible module position - you need to enter the one you chose when creating the custom HTML module. This effectively inserts the table inside it's own container that will give it space from the surrounding text without you needing to know a lot of code.

    All the best,

    Dawn

Hi Dawn - I have registered the following domain with Network Solutions

Could you let me know what information I need to provide to Network
Solutions so that when someone types in that address they are pointed
towards my website which currently resides at

    http://148coolplan.simplweb.com/

Thanks so much. I think it has something to do with an A record or the DNS
settings -- I just cant remember how to do it from the last time
