can't change template parameteters

On my site officpr - I can't change the template parameters. When I change a paramter, it goes back to the page with the list of templates, and the change did not take effect. This site was copied from nationalproofreadingday.com -- which uses the same template. I just changed a parameter on that site successfully, so I think the problem has something to do with the permissions when the copy was done.

Also - I noticed that when the site was copied, I couldn't login with the admin login that I had setup for the new site -- but I could login with the login from nationalproofreadingday.com -- so I assume when a site gets copied, it copies the users from the old site, and as a result the password is changed -- just wanted to double check that this is working as expected.
Thanks!

    Hi Sue,

It seems like the site is trying to pull from the wrong file location and causing an error. I'll get David to sort out the .ini file. Thanks for letting us know!

Regarding the login, yes the copy included all of the users from the other site including your user info, so to update this, go into the user manager and make the appropriate deletions and changes.

    All the best,

    Dawn

Another problem that might be related -- I just tried to upload a new template -- basically, I wanted to change the favicon -- and test out uploading templates with some over-rides - I got the following error message
It was not possible to copy the selected file.
JInstaller::install: Failed to copy file: /var/www/html/multisites/462officepr/tmp/install_4e78d67169475/js_refresh/component.php to /var/www/html/multisites/462officepr/templates/js_refresh/component.php

Yes, David made the copy but didn't allocate the new folder properly. I will touch base with him again today so we can get this resolved.

    Sorry for the problem,

    Dawn

Yes - I would like to get this resolved ASAP- I think I sent in the original
request Tue morning, and thought there
was plenty of time before my meeting with thjr client Thur am at 10:30
    Central.
I thought it was fixed, but just tried again to change some parameters, and
    its not.
Time is getting short now though - is there a way to get this escalated.
    Thanks
    Sue
