I have two web sites with Simplweb and they are under two accounts. The first web site/account I have had for a few years and is running well and is still under Simplweb but hosted on GoDaddy. The second site is new (just a few days old) and has not been transferred to GoDaddy yet but I do have a domain name ready for it. So my questions are:

  1. How do I transfer the second site to GoDaddy. I looked it up under the knowledge base but it was confusing.

  2. Once transferred to GoDaddy, will I still have access to the administrator side of the site?

  3. At the end of the 30 day trial period, if I do not want to continue on Simplweb can I just stay on GoDaddy and will I still have access to the administrator side? I am keeping my first account with Simplweb o that I can continue accessing Simplweb's support features.

Thanks for your help.

    Hi John

What do you mean hosting at GoDaddy? Do you mean that the domain is held at Godaddy?

    Hi John,

To run a website you need things, a hosting account and a domain.

GoDaddy provides domain registration and also hosting accounts (that don't work well with Joomla)

Simplweb provides hosting but not domains

Our recommended set up is to have your domain registered at GoDaddy, and the hosting account at Simplweb.

You can ignore anything else they try to upsell you with.
