Can I set up the registration for my site to allow users to register themselves only as a user (ie access registered content) but subject to my approval?

If so how do I do it?

   Hi Tim,

   Unfortunately, this is not possible. They can either be automatically
   approved if they self-register, or, you can manually add them from the
   backend.

   You could create a form with www.wufoo.com and collect registration
   data and then manually enter them?
