I am trying to set up email account to coincide with my website. I am using Google Apps as suggested by one of the searched discussions. Do I need to change DNS settings? If I do, how is that done?

Regards,
Sandra

    Hi John

You should leave the A records as is and add the MX records as described by
    Google

Can I use Microsoft Outlook instead of Google Apps?

    Hi John

You need a email server, and then a client

Google Apps is an email server where you can set up accounts for your
    domain.

Once you have the accounts, you need a client to read your email. Apps comes
bundles with gmail via a browser, but you can also use outlook, thunderbird
    etc.

    Hi Dawn,

    I
now need to verify my website to Google. They want me to upload an HTML
file to the server. How would I do that? If you need to do that, the
    file is google-site-verification:
    googlec10053285ad12924.html

    Thanks,

    Sandra

You can also do it with a meta tag or a text A record at your registrar
