Feed from another website
Hello, How are you?
I have a "wrapper" (.com/blog) on the cmeyer518 site that contains a web page - - I was wondering if there is another way to get the content from that page to automatically feed into my site?
Thanks!
Judy

Hi Judy,
You could use the feed display module if his blog is on RSS... this is a module in the backend of your admin panel that allows you to draw content into your website so the SEO in increased. I've gone ahead and created it for you and called it Blog - Feed. To activate it you'll need the RSS URL for his blog. It won't be as beautiful as the one you've brought in via the frame though, so you may want to keep that one if you like the pictures and other formatting. It will however give you more SEO.
All the best,
Dawn

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, the RSS is not set-up for this author as an individual (contains many author's posts).

So, I guess that is not an option.

Hi Judy,
That's exactly what you need, from there click on the (XML) link on the right. It loads a new page and copy that URL. Paste that into the module. I've gone and done that for you and changed the module name to HBR.org Live Feed and placed in on the Blog page in the Sidebar 1 position (for now). Go ahead and enable it when you have time to see how it looks. PS, I have it a module class of harvardfeed so you can style it with CSS too! Use the loadposition plugin to place it into the article and now your site will be much more SEO optimized.
All the best,
Dawn
