hello

I'm a newbie who needs to put up 2 or 3 websites for a friend and myself. I have just learnt about Joomla and have your book.

My questions are:
1)Are there any limitations onmonthly bandwidth/ traffic?
2)What is the site storage space allowed?
3)What e-commerce extensions / modules are used on Simplweb?

   Hi Shelin,

   Thanks for the email, it sounds like Simplweb is *almost* the perfect
   fit for you.

   Our new platform is designed exactly for customers such as yourself.
   Those new to Joomla who need to take advantage of our unlimited
   support and multiple site hosting, without getting tied up in
   technicalities of updating the code, backups or security (we do all
   that).

   We have no limits to storage or bandwidth.

   However, we don't have an integral ecommerce solution or shopping
   cart. We deliberately choose not to offer one as ecommerce is a very
   challenging thing to run on your own site. There are huge implications
   with taking credit card numbers and risks involved.

   Rather, we encourage customers to leverage 3rd party solutions such as
   Paypal Buy Now, Amazon checkout, Google Checkout or e-junkie. These
   are all systems that are on a separate system, and you embed on your
   site. The customers goes to the 3rd party site to pay (something they
   are now comfortable doing) and that 3rd party system assumes all the
   security risk.

   We even do the same thing ourself, our billing is handled off site by
   Infusionsoft.
