Does Simplweb do Ecommerce?

Simplweb is a managed service, like gmail. We set everything up and make sure its all working, and you manage the content yourself. If you get stuck with a question like "what's the best way to do X", we are here to jump in and help you with suggestions.

We don't actually provide ecommerce ourselves. Its our opinion, based in running ecommerce sites ourselves, that trying to do it all on your own site is too complex. You have to have a big shopping cart and deal with credit card privacy issues. Our recommendation is to take advantage of 3rd party systems like Google Checkout or Paypal Buy Now (and others) where you can place buttons on your site and people go to the 3rd party site to checkout.

All of these can be easily integrated into Simplweb.
